Father's Day

This is a little late, but I have been busy with some sickies. Kimball has had walking pneumonia and Alli has had a cold. Kimball was pretty much down and out for over a week.
Well, back to father's day. It was Kimball's first Fathers Day so it was really hard to figure out something to do for him. I wanted Alli to be as much involved as she could for an 11 month old so I decided that I wanted to do something with her hand print. I called up Jenny and she told me of framing it with a poem. So I went to Michael's and found a frame with three different holes in the mat. One hole had the Primary song saying"I'm so glad when Daddy comes home...", then a picture of him and Alli and then the other hole had her hand print. It turned out so cute. Alli and I woke him up to have Breakfast in bed. The sad thing was that he was sick, so I didn't really want Alli touching him and he stayed home from church. He was able to make it to both parents houses to celebrate, but he mostly slept there. Later in the week I got him the Disney movie The Sword in the Stone. (If any of you don't know, he loves Arthurian legends)
It has been really fun to see Kimball be a dad. He loves playing with her and showing everyone their tricks (even if it does terrify me to watch).

Kimball and I are so blessed to both have such great dads that have always been such great examples. We love them.

That is the best idea for a gift! I am going to have to use that!
