Easter

We started out our Easter activities with coloring eggs. The first thing Alli did was grab an egg and hit it on the table to crack it, as she has seen me do many times. She picked up a small piece and put it in her mouth; she must have forgotten she doesn't like eggs. She didn't touch another bite. Then she put her hand all the way in the blue dye, dyeing her hand. I finally got an egg in the blue dyed and dried in order for her to put stickers on it. As she was putting stickers on her egg, she decided to lick it. That made her tongue and lips blue as well. I lost patience with this messy process, so I decided to take a break and paint her fingernails, for the first time, so that they would look cute with her Easter dress. Eventually, with Miranda's help, we found a way that she could dye the eggs without making a huge mess. We put the eggs in a bowl, and then Alli took the a spoon and poured the different colors over them. It worked lots better.

Thanks to Dearma, Alli had a beautiful Easter Dress. (I couldn't pick just one picture)

We also participated in the annual Paget Easter egg hunt. It was really fun for Alli except for the regulating of how many of each candy she was supposed to pick up. Kimball and I also participated since it was for both the grand kids and great-grand kids.

Libby dyed her hands too. I didn't know egg dying could be such a messy process until this year.

So much fun! Zander managed to dye his hand green--even with Jed holding him! Babies are sure fast aren't they? The pics of Alli are adorable. Love your sweater Heidi!
