My TV Star

We were called Monday night by The Little Gym who told us ABC4 was going to be there taping during her gymnastics class. The girl on the Phone telling us was so excited, but with me being sick all day with a sinus infection and just feeling miserable, I didn't really care and was just going to take her another day to make up her class when I would feel better. I told Kimball and he said I have take her if she's going to be on tv. I said I would see how I was feeling the in the morning. Well, I woke up without a faucet as a nose and was feeling ok, so i took her. I got there expecting that they would be recording the kids and cutting and pasting a segment together. Durring the first part of class they came in and did just that, took some random video's and went out of the gym. Later her teacher, Mr. Braden, asked if we could all stay for the next class and specifically if Alli could be on the bars while they were doing a live segment with Good Things Utah. By this point I was exhausted and just wanted to go home, but the things we do for our kids and for TV. Alli had a little bit of a breakdown just within a minute of them showing us live on air so I had to hurry and discipline/comfort all in the matter of seconds. She ended up putting on a show for the camera. She usually does the touching of her toes to the bar, but getting her knees up there was a new experience. Come to find out that my dad had showed her how to do that when he took her and Bree to play on the bars across the street from his house last week.
