The Beach!

We decided to make our last Saturday before school starts a great one! We decided to go to Lake Erie to play on the beach. It was just over an hour drive which was just right for the kids.

We all loved it! I wasn't prepared with all the the toys that we needed but we made it work and also had nice people next to us that let us borrow their toys.
We also went to two lighthouses. The first one we were able to go up to the topand look out. The stairs were a little (or a lot) scary for me sense they were see through. We saw the other one from afar off from the beach we were on and wanted to find out how to get there. It looked beautiful. The closer we got the more run down the place looked and the way out to it looked a little unpromising. It was a half mile walk in sand and anther little ways on a rock mound to it.
We had so much fun! And were extremely tired! Oh, and Kimball was crab red by that night. The poor guy is still recovering.
