Halloween

Pumpkin Carving FHE- Joseph wasn't so sure about it. He was saying ohhh every time he went to put his hand in. Alli dug right in to help daddy. Costumes- My batgirl and robin. I made Joseph's costume which I am pretty proud of.
Ward Halloween Carnival and Trunk-or-treat- We were in charge of the craft table at the carnival, so Kimball stayed there while I took the kids around.

Law School Halloween Party
Free Scary Pancakes at IHOP- Look how huge these things were!

Trick-or-Treating- Ohio does their trick-or-treating the weekend before Halloween. They don't want it to interfere with school. Depending on the city it was either Saturday or Sunday between 5 and 7. Joseph thought it was great that people were giving him treats . He would hold up every piece of candy when he got it and show it to us and then put it in his bag. He wouldn't even let us hold his bag when it was heavy.
Candy- Between all three activities I think we have enough candy for a long while.Halloween Dinner- Since we didn't have anything to do on Halloween day, I decided to invite some friends over for a Halloween dinner. We had monster face calzones, jello jigglers, and ghost baked potatoes (thanks Nicole).

It was an extremely busy Halloween, but it was nice to steal Kimball away from studying (though he made up for it last week) and have some fun family time.

How fun! The costumes look great!! I love the pic of Alli holding her bowl of candy.

The pancakes looked to crazy for me to want to eat. Did your kids think it was awesome? Candy on a meal would be a treat for sure.

*side note I just learned the chad mills served a mission in ohio. Do you still have your same cell? I'm going to call and catch up.

That is a lot of candy! I'm so surprised Alli wasn't a princess! Cute costumes.
