Christmas

Christmas was really great. We spent most of it at Kimball's Parents house and with most of his family. We even stayed there for Christmas Even and the next night even though we only live five minutes away. It was really fun to spend so much time with them.
It was also fun to have Alli participated in the Ward family traditions. She still didn't get everything that was going on except that she got new toys and was excited to rip open the wrapping paper.
We also did lunch at my parents house and exchanged gifts there. We even skyped with Jenny and her family so that we could watch them open presents.
We were really spoiled this year. Kimball got an ipod nano and I got a sewing machine, under the counter cd player, piano coasters, and clothes. We both got a dvd/vcr player and sleeping bags that zip together. Alli got a rocking chair, music players, Little Peoples house, ball popper, and clothes. I'm sure I forgot about a lot of things. We are so grateful for our gifts knowing that this is a hard time financially for a lot of our friends and family.

We also went sledding with my family on Saturday. Alli has never been before so it was fun to take her out. It was quite chilly with the wind but other than that it was great. We had a scary beginning. My dad put Alli and Bree in a sled together and pushed them down, but they were unable to control it when it turned so they fell over with Bree on top of Alli. Poor Alli had a snow burn across her cheeks and a big bruise under her chin. We wiped the snow off her face and took her back up and road down with her. She loved it. We also put her alone on her own tube which she didn't want to get off of when it was time to go. She was so cold but was having so much fun.
