Alli's 4!

My cute little girl is 4!

Yesterday was really fun. We had a neighborhood breakfast which was so fun. Alli didn't eat much because all her friends were there running around and riding bikes. She did make sure to tell everyone she saw that it was her birthday and that she was having a party.

She went shopping with her dad to pick out some balloons, ice cream and fireworks.

Took naps and then played with grandma and grandpa for the afternoon. Miranda's family came and we had pizza for dinner before some friends came over. (I don't think she ate anything then either)

None of her little neighborhood friends were able to make it but we did have our renters and other neighbors there. We were planning to do everything outside but the wind picked up and the clouds turned dark so we moved it inside. Before everyone was in the door she was opening gifts.
Our neighbor asked us 2-3 months ago if she could make Alli's cake. She was so excited to make it pink and sparkly for her. And of course, Alli loved it!
Once the wind died down, we did fireworks! We gave everyone a box of pops. I think the adults had more fun with those then the kids. Kimball set off fireworks and then we did sparklers.
And she even got a rainbow for her birthday.

Alli is sooo fun! I love how excited she gets about everything. She is so smart and loves to learn. She cracks me up with the things she says. She's a great big sister. She loves to give hugs. She loves to be involved in or help with everything we are doing. Crazy sleeper (she sleep walks and talks). She is head strong and independent. She gives me a run for my money.

Sorry we missed the party.
She told me all about the pink castle cake at church yesterday. It looks awesome!
Alli is thoughtful and so much fun to be around. We are happy to have her be our friend. We are going to miss your family a lot. Happy 4th birthday!
